The Gtir would have dusted you off. Gtir's are lighter than WRX's. There's no way that Gtir had 350HP. I looked like the gtir won that anyhow. Your full of shit when you say your car is 1100kg. WRX's and Gtirs are a dime a dozen here in NZ. The lightest WRX made is the RA which is still 40kg heaver than the lightest Gtir, the RB spec which weighs in at weighs in 1190kg. Gtirs also run bigger a turbo and only run 8psi stock. On 17 - 19 psi you'll be looking at 320HP

Yeah my mates pulsar is about 280bhp and it dusts stis with 350bhp...so no way this thing has 350bhp and the 315bhp sti keeps up.

@kyledagg . . . I have to agree with your logic there and facts there mate.

I am in Aus with a 94 GTiR , FMIC , 3inch exhaust , dual boost switch and on the 1/4 I have toasted an EVO 10 and a 05 WRX.

While the GTiR might only have 8psi standard the engines can handle 14psi even 15 . . but can go to 18 with changed injectors , bigger AFM and a Nistune Daughter board . . not even $2,500 and you eat most cars around.

I'm not a hater, I love the Gtir, but HP does not equate to speed. Maybe the Gtir had 350hp at 7,500rpm and maybe the WRX had 315hp at 6,000rpm, this would mean that the WRX actually had more power than the Gtir. Thus why it didn't whoop its ass.

Also, My My96 weighs in at 1115kg, street trim, so to argue weight really depends on the model you are comparing.
