Why is it that the new versions want to have Judas confronting the apostles in the opening song? When I first saw the 1973 version it made sense to me that Judas was having a monologue, reflecting on his thoughts before acting on them or saying something he might regret...which I think is what most people would do if they had a disagreement with a good friend. I don't know...throwing this out there in the beginning kind of makes you wonder why they even keep him around.

hmmm I don't think he acts too well(except for the end )...probably because I'm used to acters who act more ... well not more exaggerated but stronger... I guess this acting would be really good if it was a movie...but if you do a musical i feel you have to overdo it a bit.... really nice singing though *-*

Good singer, terrible actor. Whyis it you can never have both? The 2000 version had AMAZING acting, but terrible singing. Only really good one I've seen in both those aspects is Drew Sarich
