A series of video clips of the Washington Park & Zoo Railway on April 4, 2009. Scenes include the #1 Steam Engine pulling the Zooliner's trainset, and the #5 work train engine pressed into passenger service with three cars of the steam engine's trainset. The Zooliner was having an engine change and the #5 engine was having a broken axle replaced; however the first Spring-like day in Oregon this year resulted in a busy day at the zoo and the need for a second train.

  • Hey. Is It One Of Those Disneyland CA (CK HOILDAY)

  • @Tonytambe No, although there are quite a few similarities. They are both 4-4-0 steam engines built new in the 1950s. The Disneyland Railroad is 36" (three foot) gauge, while the WP&Z is 30" (2.5 foot) gauge. The WP&Z #1 engine was built by the Oregon Iron Works in 1959; the C.K. Holliday and the the E.P. Ripley were both built by W.E.D. Enterprises in 1955.
