@TrekBeatTK >> No, that's not him. The only performance that Brooks did for Young Frankenstein is the "Cat Scream" when Frankenstein and the Inspector are playing darts.
If i recall correctly, Brooks DOES appear briefly in Young Frankenstein as the father of the little girl.
To Be or Not To Be is a very good remake of a very good film, with Brooks a good choice in the lead. He would later steal the famous "heil myself" for the stage version of Producers. I think it's a movie that deserves more discussion.
hey guys, love your show. why not do an episode on the films of japanese auteur Takeshi Kitano? i dunno if you are familiar with his work, but he is fantastic, my favourite filmmaker aside from Sam Peckinpah :)
The only thing I hated about the musical version is they changed the plot and used the director instead of LSD. I understand it's outdated, but I just loved that character.
@TrekBeatTK >> True, but in real life, fake mustache not included.

@van8ryan Ah, you're right. Hadn't watched it in awhile. But isn't it funny how that guy ends up looking an awful lot like an older Brooks?
