ignore the first 20 seconds! My attempt at a slice of classic Brit blues from the 60's. Eric is God!

  • even clapton said the "clapton is god grafity was ridiculous

  • he did indeed. Teenagers were very excitable in the 60's!

  • clapton is god

  • indeed. If only I was. His playing on that album is up there with Page on Zeppelin 2, and Green on the early Fleetwood Mac stuff. Its unrepeatable.

  • the funny part was he never topped his playing on that album, not with creem or blind faith, and his solo stuff always put me to sleep. but he defitnitly left his mark on that record.

  • thats to some extent true, he never matched that intensity and real feel for the blues - did the drink and drugs do it?!

  • Thanks - I decided to learn it by ear as well. Great tune.

  • I did this by ear I'm afraid. I have done the full version of the song now on another video. There is a tab somewhere I think, but can't remember where, try a google search - "mike's guitar site" or something??
