Instructional video for class about how to use a Jib Arm with your video camera.
The Jib Arm is a piece of equipment that creates the same effect as cranes, but the Jib Arm is much less expensive!

This was a group project and I did not film any of these sequences!
I did the voice over and editing, and that's me with the mohawk!

Song - Alan Parsons Project "Mammagamma"

  • I like this video. I know you made it serious but it reminds me of an old training video. I love how someone left the date on and people are nervously smiling.

I wish a horse would fall out of the ceiling or something.

  • I'm not too sure I agree with the above comment. Yes the information may be of a commonsense nature, but, it does give the viewer the idea that it will take trial and error to get the counter weight correctly configured. It has some nice shots at the beginning and end, also the characters demonstrating have quite a lot of attitude and that's fun.

  • Sorry but this isn't how to use a jib arm...this is how to put a jib arm together (the specific kind/brand of jib arm also isn't mentioned). Any idiot with an IQ over 100 could figure out the things shown in this video.
