i have a belkin route and it really sucks cuz i cant even go on xbl with it DIRECTLY connected, should i go buy another router?

Gah after hours and hours of trying to figure out how to open the nat, I click automatic on my xbox and it opens... /facepalm

everytime i enter my ip into address bar it just takes me straight to dd.wrt.com without asking me for username and password but i have a linksys router what am i doing wrong please help!?

omg thank you so much! I watched literally like 20 different vids and yours was the only one that worked. I'm pretty sure because yours said to disable UPnP if its still not open while enabled.

oh. the only reason i'm lagging is becayse of GAY-T&T's terrible "fast speed" internet

please i dont remember the password so ill have to press the reset button, is there any danger of not having internet again or can you reset the changes you did to your modem back if something goes wrong? i need your help

my connection is weird, when its open and i have no ports, it lags bad, when its strict and ive done my ports (when i do ports it becomes strict) it doesnt lag...
hey this is for every one including you, i have lag on xbox live even though i am connected directly to my router. my xbox is the only thing connecter to my internet, wireless or non-wireless. i will do things like re-boot everything, roter, modem, and xbox but nothing seems to help. I NEED HELP! ANY SUGGESTIONS?!?!?!

@thecamper909 Does it lag even when your Xbox 360 is connected DIRECTLY to your modem? If so, then you either have a bad modem or your ISP just sucks. If not, then your router is causing the problem.

Try restoring the default settings then following this tutorial.
