Neil Innes did some amazing work on The Rutles. Anyone can do a straight parody, but Innes did the music more in the style of The Beatles, instead of a beat-for-beat spoof. Thats why songs like Doubleback Alley stands on their own; Its really solid music.

Rutles were not made, they were evolved, Barry Wom still lives and works in a pub in cambridge,u.k.

I distinctly remember this song came out a few months before Penny Lane, which is further proof that the Beatles were thiefs.
