2009 Stanley Cup Presentation

Gary Bettman presents the Stanley Cup to Sidney Crosby. The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Detroit Red Wings 2-1 in game 7 to win the Cup. Crosby became the youngest-ever captain of a Stanley Cup Champion.

LOL at the Pens fans who think Detroit was booing the Pens they were booing Gary Bettman the much hated NHL commissioner. Notice how the booing stops when he shuts his mouth and hands Crosby the cup? The games were moved to boost television ratings on NBC because it was right at the start of sweeps. It wasn't so Detriot would get screwed. It was strictly business and apparently, it didn't matter either way since Detriot won both of those games. The games might have been back-to-back, but the next series in the playoffs almost always starts as soon as the two teams are known.
