Secretary of Energy Steven Chu is hosting America's inaugural Clean Energy Ministerial where stakeholders and ministers from 20 different countries are present. Alyona asks, is the US in the position to be hosting these events while the chances of a clean energy bill passing in the Congress are far from reach. Let's face it, America IS losing out to China and will lose out.

China has everything in place, while Republicans and Democrats still fight at it.

China has the money, labor, technology, knowledge, and MOST IMPORTANTLY the LEADERSHIP to become the green energy superpower of the world.

The US is too paralyzed, while China is running full steam into the future.

Thank god I'm going to Asia in July before the US really gets bad...

China's economy will keep grows and one day it will beat Americans. Learning Chinese would be a huge advantage. Plus, Chinese population will also keep growing. In the near future, most of the world's population will be Chinese, the future world is China's, other races will be even more outnumbered by Chinese. Chinese is the true ruler of planet Earth !

Politicians and bankers faked industrialists (shining themselves mass media) want to monopoly it. Gouging supply and pricing basically are what they want. Real industrialists need to do their own planning and demo for it to prosper. The trick is to blend yours and Chinese supplies so competition can tell truths about themselves. Set up sites for projects and live data displaying online. Just displaying wholesale price list is outdated and confusing.

@TheMiamifuentes Cutting manufacturing in America started long before anyone really cared about going green. National security was compromised a long time ago by meddling in other people's countries. Stupid move is to let the developing world have both - all the manufacturing jobs AND all the advanced tech. Also China and India combine to AT MOST 40%, but only recently. For historic emissions, US and Europe are way in the lead.
