@nannynicky4life If Sid coudn't take the name, neither could Roger. They fought over the name for years, even while Dave took over the band as leader. They were playing gigs around the world as PF even while the court battle was going on.

@nannynicky4life if neither one had a stick in their ass then why did Roger sue the rest of the band when he left. He said that when he left the band, the name PF should leave too. Roger had to fight the rest of the band and thats why a judge gave the the reamaining members (David Gilmour, Nick Mason, and Rick Right) the name to the band. Now that Rick is dead, Dave ownes half the name and Nick owns the other half. Daves argument was when Sid (who came up with the name) left the band... pt1
