i had a 88 celica with 3sge 154 ph two years ago and was great!! but i would like to have the 3sgte with 200 ph!!

@I8V84T1JZ im building a beams 3sge n.a at the moment with custom cams, oversized pistons ,high comp, race bearing , quad throttle bodies , flow benched head running a apex ecu i am exspecting 200 hp at the wheels

What does it take to get +- 200whp from a NA 3sge? :)

It is definitely achievable, but the majority of your power will be made in the higher rev range. Some of the parts i suggest are cams with adjustable gears, extractors (preferably a long tuned length), a high flowing intake filter, an aftermarket programmable computer, higher compression ( in the form of pistons or athinner head gasket or both), head porting with match ported extractors and intake. If you really want to go crazy, you would go with individual throttles and a wet nitrous sytem

ignition parts could also use some attention although being well engineered from the factory, thicker leads and more powerful coilpacks deliver a bigger spark providing a better burn. Thorough engine balancing also helps for reliability in the high rev range. Tougher valve springs will enable the engine to rev higher due to the elimination of valve bounce. Use of higher octane fuel is recommended when using higher compression but this causes the engine to run hotter, think cooling upgrade
