  • Is this the vid that Jimmy lipsyncs to?

  • @chilidahwg Yeah, it is.

  • @1:01 wow didnt know they had wireless connections back then :P

  • @TheHuMoCa They didn't, The video is probably actualy the studio version with Keith lip synching it and Jimmy pretending to play the lead lines done by Jeff Beck. But there good at it!

  • Jimmy Page is so cool.He is the best guitar player that ever lived.

  • @PhyscoWalrus The Telecaster that jimmy is playing has some sort of dragon painted on it too.

  • @chilidahwg Fingersynchs?

  • what the fuck is Jimmy Page wearing.

  • The studio version is actually played with both Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck, if you didn't notice the guitar part while Jimmy is playing, does not match what is actually playing.

  • I liked this better the 1st time I saw it on the view screen of the Tardis with the Doctor. It was a live broadcast from Gallifrey. Those Timelords had the best video effect equipment! Seriously love this song though.

  • Too bad Relf got electrocuted, but man, lose the moustache, dude. Page must be embarrassed by his attire in this clip. I'm pretty sure Jeff Beck played on the original studio version that the group is syncing to in this clip, but I could be wrong. However, if you listen to the album "Live Yardbirds featuring Jimmy Page" version of this tune, he plays a harmony line a third above the main melody line.

  • @MrChili64 not really, he just got into gibsons during Zeppelin years, even then he did use the Fenders i studio and on stage for "In the Evening". and after Zeppe he use PRS's and all manor of twanger from Jackson to Grestch. :)

  • @dubbly1 There's no "probably" about it. That IS the studio version playing the background. It was very common practice in those days to do promo videos by synching to the studio track. They all did it, even the Beatles, Stones, Zeppelin, etc.

  • WTF this is realy rare PAGE IS PLAYING A FENDER xD
