@b87clr , I was not trying to compare the Skyline to any VW, what I meant was to reply to a comment that it looked quite similar to a Datsun B210, I just wanted to say that it is not strange since they are from the same era and made by the same company.

@CptTuttle one could compare this to a vw scirocco at best, any other vdub is simply not in the same league.
