The Republicans are using the big lie here to compare the Obama administration with the historical catastrophe that they themselves so resemble. the American people are amazing to the rest of the industrialized world in their belief that universal medicare is somehow evil. The American Govt has spent more per capita on it than the so called socialist countries by mainly giving it to private insurance and HMO's who siphon it off and give the people next to nothing.

The problem, Das Politik, is that when you compare Obama with Hitler or with Stalin, regardless of how tongue in cheek it's supposed to be, it makes those who are opposed to Obama seem irrational. And I don't want my side to seem irrational. We ought to persude enough people to vote this disaster of a president out of office in a couple years, and we won't do that if we seem irrational.
