Also saw this when I was young, always remebered it. Can you imagine the outcry today?? Whiskey drinkin, cigarette smokin??!?!?Lol. Not to mention the muppet going to heaven God forbid.(Opps said the G word) I'm 44, not a drunk, dont gamble, and dont smoke cigarettes. Not everything a child sees young will influence them for the rest of thier lives.

I love this video. I loved The Muppet Show when I was a kid and I love The Gambler. It's too bad that a sketch like this would never be shown on TV today. Unless they were to do a "kiddified" version, like The Chipmunks, switching Whiskey & Cigarettes for Rootbeer & Twinkies.
