Fishing for walleyes with Lindy rig. Caught walleye but while reeling it in, the big muskie grabbed the walleye from the side. After a dive back down, the muskie turned the walleye straight. Took 2 walleye nets to bring in the muskie who wasn't hooked, just wouldn't let go of its breakfast.

53 1/2" long -- released after some photos

  • haha that was nice work to bring the boats and nets together. Nice Fish!

  • what is that sound in the background it is giving me such a headache haha

  • Holy fuck, nice skie

  • @2009ZR1NiceGuy Muskies have to be 54" on Eagle Lake to be legal. Look it up in the rules. I visit Eagle every summer, and those rules have been in place as long as I've been doing it. I realize that muskies eat walleyes, and I've heard many stories of exactly that happening as someone reeled in a walleye on Eagle. And I've had several of those monster muskies lurking under my boat.

  • that's not even a legal fish on that lake!

  • hahahaha those little shitty ass rental nets thay give you at the lodges up there x]

  • 53 1/2" monster

  • how big was she?
