To appease their merciful God, they slaughter their animals in merciless manner just as they did thousands of years ago.. There is no reason at all why they should be allowed to treat animals like this these days. They would be hauled up before courts and put in prison if they carried out some of the other commands from their scriptures, such as stoning to death juvenile delinquents and gays. So why permit atroctity against animals? Deuteronomy 21:18-21 Evolved people are always mercifull.

Remember this chicken swinging witchcraft is NOT a Jewish thing.
Hasidism is a new religion that started less than 300 yrs ago so if you mock this ritual you are in no way being antisemitic.
