  • You get all the export options you need. Just above the Export Movie option is the Export Stills option. You can export an image sequence using the Export Stills option. However, most movie editing software imports movies and it's much easier to manage one movie file than hundreds of still frames.

  • How do you tidy up your animation or should I just make a new layer and draw over then delete the rough layer? (Sorry, can't simplify what I just said)

You guessed it. You do your clean-ups on another level and then turn off the level that you did your roughs in. You can't actually delete a level but turning it off keeps it from showing up in your scene.

  • Every time I save it and play it, it goes way too fast!! How do I slow down my animation like your ball so I can actually see what is going on? Please reply as soon as you can!!

  • those are the only options to export, it doesnt have any way to export it as an image secuence?, just asking, becouse i dont want to do all the process of export then open in a movie edition software then export again as an image secuence, or i guess i can use gif and open it in photoshop

In the case of our demo, the ball hasn't been painted so you can still see through it. If you paint it then you won't be able to see through it. There is also an AutoFill feature that will automatically fill inside all the lines with a single color to do what people often call hidden line removal.

  • Great tutorial!

  • This is an incredible tutorial. I learned as much about animation in general as I did about Flipbook. PLEASE have Jason do more!

  • I just posted the video. I didn't actually make it. It was done by a guy named Jason that is a supervising animator at DreamWorks. He has never asked for a sharper pencil but a few others have so we will be making it smaller in the next version.
