  • I respect your opinion, but there's multiplayer, coop, weapon creating, new weapons, new bosses, enhanced graphics, more zombies, a new storyline, drop in/out, new save system, new clothes, etc. I realise some of the things stated aren't as important as others, but they all help to improve on the original Dead Rising.

Plus, to be honest, do you guys even know what you are doing? You can hold the square button down to do a special attack with your weapons, kicking the binbag instead of throwing.

  • @TomxLx93 Let's be honest: New weapons, bosses, zombies, clothes, and a new storyline are absolute musts for a sequel. These are things that HAD to be in the game for it be considered a new game and not the same exact one. Even a new save system at this point was probably a must based on the backlash to first game's one. The weapon creating system is fun, but not a huge, huge selling point.

Multiplayer is a good addition, though disappointing that there is no offline co-op.

  • @TomxLx93 Now, again, we are excited about the game. I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it. I'm sure it's going to be a lot of fun. But let's not pretend this game is miles of change away from the first one.

...And yes, we know what we're doing. Like we said in the video, we played the first one, a lot. Granted, we played it on an Xbox 360 and not a PS3, and I think neither one of us has played it in maybe two years, so yeah, there's some rust.

  • Great vid guys. Love the opinions and your ideas.

  • Just some things I thought I should add:

    1) There is online co-op in DR2 with persistent characters.

    2) There is a Versus mode called Terror is Reality.

    3) There are pawn shops where you can buy weapons and weapon combinations.

    4) IN the demo there was also Rebecca (an Asian reporter), Gordon (LaShauwndra's husband), Chad (some gun-toting guy), and a few others. LaShawndra was just the most obviously placed survivor.

    5) Case Zero is rumored to come out July 8th.

    Can't wait for DR2! :)

  • @MrRandomvideos1997 Sept 28

  • @MrRandomvideos1997 its supposed to come 23th of septembre i guess or something near that

  • @MrCyberSiren Sorry, Case Zero's release date has been delayed to August 31st. I'd like to edit my original post to say that, though unfortunately that's impossible. Sorry for the misinformation. :(

  • when does this game come out

  • I think dead rising 2 should be offline co-op you know for those who dont have xboxlive im sure they wouldnt mind split screen.

  • @chewy8126 thats tomorro. oh joy!!!!!!!!

  • No it's not racist you idiots. You meet at least fout other survivors in the demo; Gordon, Kristen, Doris and Chad. And, yes there are black women who are "sassy", and considering the fact that LaShawndra got abadoned in a zombie filled plaza, I'd say the sass is justified.
