@ethennes Mr. bridges is telling the coach that it is not enough to just pray for a miracle you have to make yourself ready to receive the miracle. In the story of the farmers they both prayed for rain but when the rain came only the farmer who had prepared his fields reaped the benefit. Does that clear it up at all?

I kno man... im actually a christian... didnt mean that in a negative way... just felt like saying sumthing funny... the ironic thing is that when i woke up this morning it was raining and i had to go out and do yardwork.... as soon as i finished it became sunnier than yesterday... i may have not been outside ... but i did just get out of the shower...lol

@Wrestlefan1 LOL! that's a very funny response but sadly i supposed that you would then be exempt but this is not good...you should come outside!! and you wont need an umbrella...simply laugh and dance and trust in the love and joy of the sender of the rain :)

I think Jesus said it best. (paraphrased) The things which you have asked the Father in Jesus name, believe in your heart that they have been granted to you, and they will be. In other words, live your life on the certainty of the blessing as though it were already there.
If you're, say, applying for a certain job, choose your clothes and arrange your schedule as if you already had it. This applies elsewhere too, but do you see what I'm saying?

i dont think thats true. i think that you should pray and ask God for everything. and if you're doing everything according to His will, a blessing will come in His time. Deuteronomy 28:2 says that "All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God." But God is not going to bless you, or do what you ask unless He thinks you are ready for it.

We are all surrounded by creations of God. Air, water, food, school, friends, etc.. are blessings for all in disquise. Without those we can't go far to achieve anything we want or need. God intervene for our own good. It is our choice to take it or not.
