  • doc and his son played this for us at smithfield virgina back in 76 on the back of an old 18 wheeler flat-bed u talk about seeing the worlds best performances well i guess i been there. miss u merle so much god bless.

  • why are people always commenting on the GREAT videos about the crappy videos...who cares how many views it gets compared to others...just be happy that fans of good music have this video and that we're not one of the millions of sheep that flock to those aforementioned crapy videos.

  • Wow Great

  • Great video - thanks ! - E

  • I saw Doc and Merle at Cal State Long Beach in the early 70s....they set up a stage in this large room and put up chairs with me and my wife in the first row center....

Doc was less then 10 feet away....that was something i will never forget. Thanks for posting. Brings back a lot of memories for me.

  • the doc rocks

  • @8woldy8 - that's horrible...a sad attempt at humor - I got news for ya boy - Doc can hear the difference in the licks, tone, syncopation and delivery - I'm just shocked anyone knowing Doc, and his music would write that

  • Being from western North Carolina myself, Doc's music has a special place in my heart. I had the pleasure of seeing him in a street festival in Winston-Salem in 1999. Probably the coolest musical experience of my life thus far.

  • @TheTbama youtube views, along with record sales, dont designate how good the music is. not to mention a lot of the people who listen to this music dont use youtube.
