Tutorial for GIMP Liquid Rescale Plug-In: basic image enlargement example.
An image is enlarged to 140% of its original width. After the first attempt, a preservation mask is used in order to improve the result. Make sure to activate the captions to see the explanations.
You'll need to watch the video with a definition of 480p or more to see what's going on. Fullscreen is better. There's no audio.
The video was made using version 0.7.0 of the plug-in running in Ubuntu Linux 10.4 and using GIMP 2.6.8. It is not accelerated nor edited in any way.
