http://www.sanjosestrengthcoach.com. Coach Neal Valera practicing technique on the Olympic lift, the snatch. Still fairly new to Olympic Lifting so trying to build proper form with lighter weights. Learned some finer details at the USA Weightlifting course. This move builds explosive hip power and start speed. It's a great lift for teaching the body to work as one unit. It helps with greater force production.

  • @RandomStevie what are you an idiot? You've never lifted Olympic clearly. All the plates are rubber and go to as small as a 10LB rubber plate. This is so you can drop them without smashing the floor....

    Best to know what the fuck you are talking about before making little snide remarks that make YOU look like the idiot that you are...

    Keep your shoulders in front the bar until you reach mid thigh position (end of transition) where they should end up directly above the bar for contact.

  • @RandomStevie Rogue Fitness and Again Faster make 15# plates. Any manufacturer that makes rubber bumper plates will have them.
