Battle of Qala-i-Jangi November 25 - December 1, 2001 Northern Afghanistan. It began with the uprising of Taliban prisoners held at Qala-i-Jangi fortress, and escalated into one of the bloodiest engagements of the war in Afghanistan. Northern Alliance fighters, assisted by British and American special forces took seven days to finally quell the revolt
@malik911 Nearly everyone involved in war has done something criminal, it's just Dostum and his ilk have done alot more and alot worse

Gotta give it to those Afghans they are true warriors. The way some of those men were walking around amongst the fire fight like they were going for an evening stroll through the park, while others were ducking and running. It's also interesting to look at facial features, the guy at the end talking looks like he could've been mongolian/Chinese. Amazing place

@chillionaires you are an idiot, Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance, It teach us to have patience and respect human beings. We are only allowed to fight when it comes to our land, defending our families and our religion, So far the muslims have defended themselves against the oppressors and occupents.

@Veldtian1 I cry when i see my afghans. Most of those in the video who battle the talibans are thieves, murderers, rapist, and barbarians. Their leader Abdul Rashid Dostum is a war criminal and yet he is free.

Yeah right!!! The Brits and the Americans where there with only pistols and rifles dueling with the natives like General Custer at the Little Big Horn.. Oh, except that they had ability to dial up a 1000 pound JDAM airstrike AND a 4 hour ground pounding by C-130 Spectre gunship... WHICH THEY DID!
Also the prisoners (who where fish in a barrel mind you) knowing they are going to be tortured and executed after their CIA interrogation fought to the death instead of going out like bitches...

@mad00insane The coalition, six times less in number, poorly equiped and with very little knowledge on the sector, managed to slaughter a little more than 500 taliban fighters who were fighting on their own ground with RPGs, antitank weaponry and howitzer.

As I wrote, the tank was only operated on the last day when the the taliban was considered vanquished. The coalition only had assault rifles and pistols

@mad00insane You're all wrong! The taliban were 600.The NA was made of 50 to 100 men, while the SBS were 8 and the Americans were 13.The fort being a former taliban possession, the prisoners knew all of its structure and had access to both their formerly confiscated heavy weaponry and the fort's weaponry reserve (RPG, antiaircraft machine gun, howitzer). Americans and Bitish only had their m16 and 9mm pistols. NA had only AK47. The tank was only used on the last day. Keep dreaming.

@umairmanutd02 I'd rather have heroin and opium being grown rather than terriorism or Islamic law being bred any day of the week. I'm just sayin.
