Lawton, Pa - August 8th, 2010 - the Valley Forge Trail Rider's inaugural Hillside Hare Scrambles took place on a bright, sunny day causing some problems with dust, but no mud issues to speak of.
Nope, it's not just for young guys. There are classes for 40 to 50 year olds; 50 to 60 year olds, and a class for those over 60 too. All you have to do is show up, pay your fees and you're in! Looking forward to seeing you out racing!
It was a beautiful day and great time. I really appreciate that all the divisions ran on the same day so that we could stay for the main and watch Andrew DeLong win!!! VFTR, you did a fantastic job - great track - the kids and I especially enjoyed the stream. We're looking forward to next year - hope it is at the same location. Thanks again! and thanks to the Farmer that allowed the race to take place on his property!
