Settings for MW2: Everything on exept from shadows/soften smoke edges. Resolution: 1280x720. All set to EXTRA
Settings for Skyrim: Textures set to HIGH, everything else on LOW. Resolution: 1366x768.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2- w/ fraps: 35-60 fps. wo/ 60-90 fps.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare- w/: 30-60 fps. wo/: 60+ fps.
The Elderscrolls: Skyrim- w/: 15-30 fps. wo/: 20-40 fps.
Crysis 2- w/: 15-25 fps. wo/: 20 fps stable.
Battlefield 3- w/: 15-20 fps stable. wo/: 20+ fps.

im just wondering

coz i have an I3 Quad core 3.5 ght overclocked

and a 512mb graphics card ( Nvidia ) but at the moment im stuck with 2 gig of DDR 3 ram ( Coz i built this pc ya see )

would this be able to run BF3 because i have been contemplating buying it for a long time but i always worried if it would be able to run off 2 gig of ram

@Ryham93 well. u should probebly going to handle the game pretty well! like medium to high settings...

@TahOliw3r Well my maintenance is flawless so, I guess I'll give this one a shot after all, thanks for all the info.

@6xSnake6x well, it all depends on your drivers. If u have good drivers it will work fine with 25-35 fps on 800x480.

@TahOliw3r Have you tried editing a config file ? I remember you could do this for bad company 2 (although it wouldn't work when you'd log in I believe). Also, have you tried multiplayer ? In bad company 2 I would get slightly lower framerates in sp and in mp it would work just fine 35+. Don't know why, also haven't tested since last update. Oh and about updates, any of those make the game run smoother in bf3 ?

@6xSnake6x Ill have an duel core 2.00ghz and 4GB of ram. and its around 20fps on 1024x600. but ive increased my pc so ill get 20fps on 1024x768:) but u can try:) Good luck

Hey man, what's your processor ? I have i3 at 2.13ghz, same card as you (inferior version I believe, only 512MB VRAM) and 3GB RAM DDR3. You think battlefield 3 can run at 30 fps on low settings with a miserable resolution ?
