There's an urgent INSISTENCY ... and a great ORIGINALITY ... to the playing-of Henry "Red" Allen. This excerpt shows the NON-originality of a fine trombonist (JC Higgonbotham) at "Higgy's" LOW point, in recordings ... in his recordings after a certain period. Thanks for the upload, as it demostrates the strengths and failings of two (or more) of the best of jazz
