Some video of Brambleton Model Railway Club's autumn open day 2009. We run an extensive outdoor layout in both O and 16mm scales all set in woodland, lots of room so good length trains. In the video there are various loco's from converted Lima & Triang to radio controlled class 47 and 8F. Everything is signalled using block and bell instruments.
The layout has nine stations, some are larger walk in sheds while others are small covered huts just enough room for the signalling equipment.
The stations are spaced at a regular distance apart as our original stock was all clockwork so the spacing is about the distance a "healthy" loco would travel on one wind of the spring.

Where do the trains get their power from? Great video.

They are battery powered, some where 3v motors but most are converted 12v Lima stock.
Thanks for your comments, the video just doesn't do our layout justice as it is huge!!
