  • Oh, my gosh!! Can't believe I found this!! I remember Tommy from Organ Power Pizza in Lemon Grove CA in the mid-80s. He was phenomenal. I remember getting in trouble with the local city council for defending Tommy when they were hassling him over some local regulation. Unfortunately, he eventually left. He was quite the entertainer. His Phantom of the Opera and Music Box Dancer were big favorites. Sure miss him and his music.

  • Ask me to be friends..my favorite uncle!Happy fathers day! Thanks 4 luvin me! U rock!

  • Great sound on a great organ installation! Beautifullly played too. Hilo is very fortunate to have this instrument and the enthusiasts who keep it operating so beautifully.

  • Wow! Such lush chords! A very impressive performer here! He gives the Theater organ romance. Thanks for posting! I enjoyed it!

  • Are you referring to his Organ Power Pizza in Lemon Grove??

  • I've known Tommy since way back in San Diego - he's still tops!

  • Very enjoyable to listen to!

  • It is the best remaining example of "island style" movie palace construction and is worth a visit if you're ever in Hilo.

  • Come on now, only 4 stars. It's a good recording and the organ is sounding great. If I remember correctly the Hilo Palace originally sat about 900. It is stadium seating. For safety reasons the rear seating area is considered unsafe because of missing (rotted away) exits. The community struggles to keep it bandaded together, but the building is in need of much more restoration.
