Replaced the broken motor in my friends old Aeroccino with an old cassette deck motor. See how that works. :-)

  • may i ask you how can you pull out the base?? thx

  • @1ma1wong search "aeroccino" on my blog for photos on how to take out the base.

  • I had the plunger, too. But a friend of mine bought an Aeroccino and it was dead on arrival. Nespresso sent him a new one (service!) and told him to throw away his "old" one. Instead, he gave it to me. It was sitting here for a few months, and I finally decided to try to repair it.

These things are expensive, I wouldn't buy one just like that. But at this price I can't argue. It's a great little milk frother :-)

  • Seems to be running fine but hopefully you know what you are doing and you won't electrocute yourself due to a faulty connection. :)

  • @1ma1wong You need to press the button only briefly otherwise it goes to the cold mode (if you press more than a couple of seconds). You can tell the different modes because in heated mode it lights red and in cold mode it lights blue. If this is not working, then return it for replacement. However, you must understand that heating is not heating to scalding point, just warming the milk up. Have a look at my video.

  • @TheAviator789 thanks alot and happy new year...

  • @1ma1wong Bring it back to where you purchased it, They are guaranteed for two years. If you have your receipt you should be fine, if not your Nespresso club card should have the transaction.

  • you are the best , but my frother is not heat up the milk , may i ask you what should i do ...

  • These have a warranty for over 2 years. Its an amazing product! Just be careful when cleaning the bottom that the Teflon doesn't get scratched because the milk will stick to the end and It will burn into the bottom of the Aeroccino. Don't use any brushes when cleaning it, just water and a wipe will do. I did that to my old one but Nespresso replaced it even though it was my fault I scratched it. Thats what I call service.

  • LOL. I use the plunger type. Never knew they made these machines.

Do you make machiatto as well? If not, try it, way nice!
