It's satire and so is not as concerned with realism. My interpretation is that if this were to happen, (however unlikely that would be), Nazi political ideals and goals are not a far cry from the current US agenda.

I liked this from an amateur movie reviewer on this movie:

"It's basically saying if the Nazi's did come back they'd be very little for them to do, fascism has moved on and is wearing it's own camouflage these days"
