Quentin Tarantino was on this show with Denzel. I read in an issue of Premiere magazine Denzel confronted Quentin on the set of Crimson Tide about use of racial slurs in his films. Quentin got embarrassed and wanted to take the discussion elsewhere. Denzel said, "No, if we're going to discuss this, let's discuss it now." After that in the press Denzel said Quentin was "a fine artist". Guess is Denzel wanted to keep the argument on the down low so it wouldn't effect his or Quentin's careers.
