AMAZING! Bowie performs "The Alabama Song" by Bertold Brecht live in Berlin 2002. Watch out for the part where he sticks out his tongue at Gail Ann Dorsey...so sexy ;-)

How amazing this version of the great Kurt Weill famous hit is !! Though Bowie gives it back all its drama intensity, just like in a berliner brechtian cabaret, he succeeds in making it sound like a typical Bowie song ("Scary monster" era). That's genius !! Or at least great great talent. And what a fun for the actor Bowie too, always so theatrical on stage. La grande classe.
what a fucking douchebag...he thinks just because of his contribution to music he can ruin on of the doors greatest hits..why the fuck would he sing it like that??
@jonezy81 The Doors' version is not the original. The original was created by Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill earlier. Search for the original one and you'll see the similarities with this version (that's why he sings it like that). Though, I have to say I prefer Doors version, too!
