Every year street preacher Brother Jed Smock comes to the campus of Texas A&M. This time I grabbed my camera to try to understand what was really going on. The story I found was far more complex than I had imagined. (Music by Magnatune Records.)

  • @SouthernPreachers Amen to that.

  • 99% of the so-called Christian youth today are neo-evangelical at best in their beliefs, they do not know what the Bible teaches, they are not Biblically saved...they have been brought up on easy believism and cheap grace. Self deceived and on the broad way to Hell. They love their sin and they HATE the God of the Bible.

  • @1000DaysEvangelism I have to disagree with you. While his passion cannot be denied by any means, and I truly believe that he loves God with all his heart, I believe he is going about this the wrong way. Insulting and condemning to hellfire and brimstone typically doesn't do much for people. There's a way to preach with love, and I personally just don't feel as though Jed preaches that way.

  • awesome video

HAHA YEAH I SENSE THE SARCA-

    Wait... *looks at profile*

Oh, this guy is serious. O_o

Well, this was unexpected. I have pity for you sir. May you see the light someday. The rest of us will enjoy our lives without the fear of punishment by an ill-tempered god. G'day.

  • Bro Jed is one of the finest preachers I have ever known and had the pleasure of traveling with, preaching with and partering with over the years.

  • I was there. I was the guy with the sign saying that there's probably on hell, and no god either. Interesting project that you're doing. I look forward to seeing the full video :-)

  • I admire Jed for his dedication to his faith and for the work he has done for so very long. Is it divisive? Yes- but the Truth as he sees it is uncompromising. He does what he does in a way that engages young adults when they are at their most rebellious, liberal, and agnostic or athiest. The bulk of those who stop to listen to him won't be in church for the 4+ years they are in school and he is doing what he can to engage & save them.

  • Cool video. I love Bro Jed. He had a profound impact on my Christian life for the better. Christians, don't waste the opportunity when Jed comes to share your own gospel story with non-believers. Jed gives them questions, we disciple. All have different gifts. How can the hand say to the foot, "You're worthless," if we are to be the body of Christ? God works all things to His purposes. Go Jed go.

  • He and I had some words today.
