In this video I explain how to do the Driveshaft cover mod to cover the rear of the driveshaft and the slipper nut. I also explain how to mod the front of the driveshaft.

@xboxluva22 theres 2 screws on it. take them out and pop it off

this problem does not exist on the newer model Slash 4x4's does it? my cover seems to go all the way to the back. i still managed to get a piece of rock inside my spur/pinion gears however. it dislodged one of the pads on the slipper clutch. thankfully it was under warranty, so they repair it. just bought it less than 2 weeks ago.

@ebarmobile i dont know. i figure traxxas would change it for the better on there newer trucks but im not positive

@66zakattak I traded it for a tamiya highlift. i liked my slash but im more into scale trucks/ crawlers.

i bet you dont go offroad or bash because it looks like you barely use it
