I JUST finished watching the whole series and all I can say is...

On TV Tropes, it is also stated that Vandread is a mixture of a couple of shows including Love Hina and Star Trek Voyager. =)

exept that vabdread rulz and star trek is for nerds who dosn't have a life...

and love hina? that anime/manga have's nothing in common with this, the cliche of the man in a ship/building/school/country/w orld it's very used in anime and manga, and more than love hina it seems like girls bravo...

who knows about a posible third stage of vandread?
the only thing that i know is that it doesnt have the same name and that is with the daugter of hibiki and dita and the daughter of meia

Well, there is Vandread Extra stage, which is a book of short stories about characters in Vandread, one of which ends with Hibiki and Dita having a child together. I'm not aware of any plans to make another anime series of said stories though.
