@leena190 in islaam we only listen to authentic certified scholars of islaam and each and every single authentic certified scholar says keeping the beard is manditory ! it is a grave sin to sit there and make ur own meanings to hadith ! i strongly advise you to stay away from doing such an act ! it is a dangerous path to go down !

@abz2000123 and theese imaaams knew thousands of ahadith word for word off their memory can u say the same for your self ?...if a regular person who has no knowledge of medicine takes a doctors book studies it and says this is what i think of this and this is what this means and starts telling people will anyone listen to him? or will they listen to certified doctors?i think the ans is clear no one will listen to a man who just read a doctors book and take his opinion over a certified doctots

@abz2000123 so your saying that keeping the beard is advice and not mandatory??? if you are ...me and you are not in a place to judge that ...the aimmah -e-arbah and all the big scholars after them and big scholars today who have studied ahadith and fiqh there whole lives and had knowledge like we cant even imagine have said it is mandatory to keep the beard for a muslim man that was not advice that was a commandand i am not saying that from myself i am saying what all the aimah arbah said !

@leena190 the prophet (pbuh) said: be different from the jews & christians, they shorten the beards&grow the moustache, do the opposite,

some rulings were instructive&some was advice to be different & unique, that's not necessarily a ruling pertaining to paradise & hell.

if he said: tie your sandals high, would you take that as a ruling to forbid walking barefoot or with shoes?

btw, the rabbis & the fathers mostly have long beards now, i keep a trimmed one - Muslims still say peace on d streets
