The Stanford Autonomous Helicopter performing a maneuver known as "Chaos". In this maneuver, the helicopter flips over in place repeatedly while simultaneously pirouetting about its vertical axis.

  • Pretty cool, but is that a real Choas? or just a piro flip? a piro flip is where you flip the disk and the heli pirouettes around the mainshaft. The Choas is a piro flip where the orientation rotates 90 degress every piro flip.

    example: first piro flip is away, ends up facing side in, then flip is sideways, ends up facing nose in, then toward you, ending up side in, and then finally ending up where you started.

    it's just piro flip i think this call "full piroflip" but it's defenetly not a caos cuz the heli is not moving like  aaronredbaron described it
