  • Because your partner is the same sex as you. Duh. It's detrimental to society as a whole in the long run if we applied the law of universalization to homosexuality. Don't you believe in evolution? Homosexuality is a birth defect unless you choose it, then it's going against the flow of evolution on purpose. Either way, it doesn't help the human race. It only serves to satisfy you and your partner(s) until you are dead.

  • So you don't think that things like Gay marriage should be decided on by voters? Who, then, should decide about these sorts of things? Activist judges?

  • Please look at the videos that I presented above, in fact here they are again:

Domestic partnership and marriage are do not afford the same rights and responsibilities. Please take a look and you will see that we would be denying certain rights. I pay taxes and deserve the exact same rights my neighbor has.

Thank you for your fair minded analysis and I hope that you will vote No On Prop 8 on Nov 4th. Please, everyone go out and vote.

  • I thought there was a statute in California that granted same-sex couples the same rights as others. Go forth and buy a house and raise kids and visit in hospitals and leave bequests and get medical insurance on partner's plan. See the family code that Greg mentions.

  • Got it, thanks.

  • Yep watch?v=eOw5ulc7h5o

  • Is there a Part 1?

  • If they are not rights, which I wholeheartedly disagree with, please explain to my why I don't deserve to marry my partner and you deserve to marry your partner.

  • They're not rights and paying taxes does not make you deserving of them.

  • I'm on the East coast so I'm not familiar w/this Cal. issue. But I'm surprised something like this has gotten to a ballot. If it passes, I wonder if it will go to the supreme court and be decided for the whole country there.
