@Xovit Wow...I'm glad our power didn't go out. Our end of the block is higher and we were one of two houses that didn't get water. Since we're near that "pit" that overflowed into the streets, we had mini rapids on our block for most of the day.

You should have come down Sunnyside Ave on the other side of town. Water was gushing out of every sewer cover; two doors down from me had water 2 ft. high in their living room (and made it on Channel 2 news).

@TurboVW2004 Ouch, sorry to hear heh.. yeah, the way our house/land is set up, we were lucky, can kinda see it when rounding the front but the house sits up slightly higher than the ground level/side walk. Also had not one, but two pumps going 24/7 to keep the flood from the basement.
