Says Net Neutrality is the First Amendment issue of our time...then cosponsors PIPA.

I'm sorry Mr. Franken but it is clear that you do not understand this issue. The fact of the matter is the internet is distributed by nature and it is impossible to restrict the internet enough to block specific sites and still run a business. Proof of this is recent events where Egypt was forced to shut down the ENTIRE internet. Internet kill switch. The government is a powerful tool most often best to leave it alone. Leave this alone. Please Mr. Senator.

@cokdrum Your pathetic attempt to try to understand what he said breaks down into your usual moronic fear. You stupid shithead. Why are you so scared you sad pussy. Now watch the video a few more times you thick ignorant cowardly fucktard. Who knows you might eventually understand it. You worthless piece of scum.

He listed many companies, hence the free market. he represents government interest. He said the government should be the only one threatening your 1st amendment. rights. This proposal will give the government ownership of the web. Fox news can load faster if they invest in the IT. What is he saying, every server needs to be equally slow? Progressives did not invent the internet, if they had it would already be a government tool not available to the public. FRANKEN TAKE YOUR STICHDT GO HOME!

Franken for president 2016!!!!!!

This is one of the most urgent matters of the decade. We just screwed ourselves universally when we handed over power to the FCC to ensure the horrifying "crush" videos were filtered out of available content. In the rush to prevent the display of morons engaged in acts of cruelty, we gagged ourselves across the board. Americans who value Real Freedom better stand together NOW!

We support net neutrality and are thus afraid of free speech? In what strange alternate reality does supporting a means of free expression represent our distaste for it? Are you saying that Corporations should also have free speech, the hulking behemoths of power and cash that control almost everything you own and see?
Your response is unclear, please revise it.
"Net neutrality is the First Amendment issue of our times"
amen.

Al Franken is one of the only Congressmen that I believe is a true progressive, and I am proud to be living in the great state of Minnesota being representative by the intelligent progressive named Al Franken.
