@marcang1 <<< Im 100% postive its about Hank Jr The song sayes Hes over 40 years old now ..... Hank Sr born 1923 died 1953 but was only 29 years old so its definatly talking about Jr in the song

I played this version of this song as a closing dance song at a sober dance I DJ'd many years ago, and it filled the floor in front of me. It was awesome. What made it more bittersweet was the fact that my mom and dad were right at the forefront of the people dancing to it. In all honesty, I was apprehensive about playing it, but when the song was over, I was getting handshakes, and thank yous from the couples that danced to this song. Thanks Hank and Alan for recording this great song. George 2
