Ironic that the Beatles are on the screen when he announced the iPod, considering that Apple brand name turned out to a be a major reason for The Beatles' library being excluded from the iTunes store in the end. Haha.

Ya, fireware WAS faster then USB, they switched because most computers have firewire ports.
