Here we see Steve Jobs introducing the very first iPod at a low key event in 2001. The rest is history.

  • Ten years ago we had Steve Jobs, Johnny Cash, and Bob Hope. Sadly, now we have no Jobs, no Cash, and no Hope.

  • it will never work

  • Steve Jobs was a thief who ripped off Bill Gates left and right. Who won in the end, though? The guy still breathing.

  • ...where it all began...

  • @WalkerSeydellArtist

Oh, I'm not discrediting it for it's essences.

Just don't show off with a thousand tracks, while they're heavily lossy MP3s and definitely not "very high quality".

That's a lie, especially from Apple, who insist on high quality products.

Then talk about the product and don't say that 160kb MP3s are a good thing, that's misleading, even at that time.

I hated that time, I always ripped CDs to WAV, which was HUGE...

    I'm thankful for FLAC.

  • @DamageIncM lets be real thats so petty at this point when this device's existence changed the fucking world.

  • It holds a thousand songs in what? MP3? The smallest ones right? 160kb isn't "very high quality" Mr. Jobs...

How about you do music justice, especially if Apple is so keen on quality products, and put them on there in WAV, how many of those can you put on the first iPod??

Sure, probably still more, but yeah, don't brag about a thousand songs if it's not actually full quality...

  • @xboxmodder02 it´s a sarcasm. Isn´t it?

  • It is very funny to look this video because it´s the same fantastic Steve presentation, but without all of those disgusting today´s Applefanboys screaming when steve say "IPOD"

  • @xboxmodder02

    go buy the past bitch

  • Ipod is shit.It only supports shit quality low bit-rate sound files.I would rather buy the real CD because of the lossless sound quality and the cover art / book that comes with it.If I were to download any music it would be in FLAC or WAV only.MP3 shouldnt need to exsist now anyway.Connection speeds are alot faster now.MP3 was fine if you had dial-up or cable. But these days you can download a WAV or FLAC track in seconds.I don't get why people buy ipods just to listen to poor quality audio.
