Ub Iwerks was a total genius! And, when you took the mechanical aspect of his creations and combined that with the more comical/ artistic aspect of Walts creations, you get... well, THIS! Pure genius!

he didnt invented it, but he was smart enough to know that it would make cartoons better.

Everything that was an improvement he took into consideration.

He never got stuck. unlike today,where they make something and "update it " every year, not even caring to develop something better.
