009 - Creating animated slideshows with Photo Story 3 for Windows

Photo Story 3 is a free piece of software from Microsoft. It makes the creation of animated slideshows incredibly simple, through the use of a wizard style step-by-step interface. In this tutorial, you will learn how to create a slideshow from scratch, including how to rotate images, apply colour correction and special effects, add text and audio narrations, and finally export a finished movie. This movie could then be uploaded to a school website or blog for the world to see!

There are a number of applications in the classroom, from sharing good work (for example artwork) to narrating a story board of initial ideas before writing a story.
