My mom read a book, the China Study. They found that dairy (cheese, milk...) has a protein called casein. This protein promotes cancer. Everyone has cancer cells already in their body so casein causes it to grow. The protein in meat is also harmful but not as much.The diet change is a vegan/plant based diet. I know, it sounds scary, I hated it for the first three months. But now I don't even crave dairy. Also, prevents diabetes, heart disease and such. Message me if you have any questions. =)

Have hodgkins and went through 8 chemos and 17 radiation with my last radiation tomorrow =) keep it up u seem strong!

Thanks for posting. My partner was diagnosed with Lymphocyte Rich Hodgkin's Lymphoma on January 27th, 2010 -- He start's his first cycle set of ABVD (Chemotherapy [IV]) out of 4 tomorrow the 10th of Feb.
I was wondering which type of Hodgkin's Lymphoma you have/had. Either case, we wish you the best of all that is good to you!

I had Hodgkins last year. 1 year ago today I found the lump. Hodgkins is hard to diagnose for some people. They did blood tests, all of them were normal. Finally they did a biopsy and found it. My treatments only lasted 2 months. I'm in remission but truthfully the after effects seem to be the suckiest part. But I got my port out. I hated it. After I was done I learned about a diet change that really helps get rid/prevent cancer. So if you want know, ask me. =) I'l be thinking of you.

Usualy even advanced Hodkins Lymphoma has over an 85% 5 year survival rate :)
