I'd wondered what the point of those booms bobbing around in the waves parallel to the shore were supposed to do. It doesn't surprise me at all that BP hasn't taken cleanup measures seriously.
I saw something online about research for some kind of centrifuge that would suck in water and separate the oil from it. You'd think they would have these ready to go, right? But then again, you'd think we wouldn't need oil at all anymore...
Fuck it. Drill Baby Drill, right?
