@Poesraven7 Wow, which weird production have you been watching? This aria comes near the beginning of Act II and is NOT repeated.
-
@JeeRant No One Beautiful Day is usually sung twice. The 2nd time with some irony at the end of the opera, outside the Temple of Buddha, as she is about to commit suicide

@giloubreizh Yes, what a rat and a coward-number one villain

TMC-Romantic Period. I like that this video shows how music can be put into scenes in movies and make it seem like the song was written specifically for that scene even though it may not have been.

Stunningly beautiful.

Typically one Beautiful Day is actually sung twice. The first time Madama Butterfly is full of hope that her husband will return and live with her. The 2nd time is when she is about to commit suicide so it is more ironic and much more dramatic. So I think the director did not do the performance any good when he cut it.

No, I believe 'One Fine Day' is included in the movie. And it's at the beginning of Act II, not at the end.

OMG!--That bastard!!!--Why would you do that to someone who loves you? He doesn't deserve her.
Moi non plus! :o)
