  • Haven't heard that before - a truly beautiful piece... that the audience laughs, babies cry and the thing goes on... ambience and music, really working together. Great performance.

    Yes, I think it is a marvelous piece. I have never tired of playing it as it has is so much "in buildt " freedom & humour. It is also the piece that backstage audiences always want to ask about.

    Though it has many novel techniques/sounds it is NOT just a "gimmicky" work, there is a strong musical structure to it which is why I have never lost interest in playing it, or audiences in hearing it.
